Venice: It Gets A Point
Wow. Where do I even begin. I've only been in Venice for four days but I feel as though I've spent a lifetime here. I've already experienced so much, learned so much, and seen so much. There is so much that want to share with you but if I did I would miss out on everything that is waiting for me away from my keyboard. So... in order to give you a glimpse of my current life, I'll sum it up with some beautiful moments. I found romance with a blue haired Bulgarian girl, pet a church cat, received an amazing deal on a flying light-up toy then immediately broke it, danced the night away with a 60 year old Venetian woman, and caught bronchitis. But in all seriousness, with all the amazing fun I've had, I've also learned quite a bit about Venetian culture and the nature of its people. There is a welcoming spirit here that really embraces foreigners. It's so easy to form relationships and engage in banter with folks despite the language barrier. The native Venetians...
